Dear Doug,  I would like to express my personal thanks and appreciation for the wonderful job you did facilitating the No Wrong Door and the administrative selection process for the Workforce Development Board. You helped a new board carry our a difficult process. It was nice that by the third try, most of the board felt confident enough to proceed on their own. I was grateful that you were there, as it gave the board the option to go either way. We used the New Performance Planning Front-End Analysis to determine what the Board really needed to accomplish in a very tough decision that needed to be made.  The situation involved a great deal of emotional issues that was initially leading to very subjective decisions.  We then completed a team oriented decision making selection process that led them to the most objective decision possible.

Dear Doug
Our organization  has undergone a massive reorganization effort restructuring from a traditional hierarchical structure to a matrix structure. "Change" was definitely a part of the process". The group I work for is trying to transition from a traditional training department to a performance improvement department. This is a paradigm shattering experience for many to say the least. Doug was very patient and always willing to answer questions with real-world examples of how a job aid can be (or was) used. Doug's  examples and stories are what really show the power behind this methodology. Doug was very good about referring to the job aids whenever he could. It really helped to see him use the job aid to answer questions. The job aids proved you did not have to memorize everything. the workshop changes your thinking from "what topic/subject am I going to teach?" to "what is being produced?" and "how is it being done well?" Using this process allows everyone to speak the same language and performs analysis in the same manner. This will result in more streamlined development and completion of projects. This process allows us, as a department, to present a universal front to all of our clients. It allows you to find the needle in the haystack and address appropriate remedies to that problem."
